So, we want to start kara.  To do that I propose we set aside two days a week and have people commit to being there for those times.

This is my idea for a schedule:

Day 1:  Kill attumen.
    - with a couple weeks practice I think we should be able to consitently one shot him, so in that case we would move on to moroes.  If we had a bad run, it's probably best to retire after finally downing him.  I would hope that we would quickly get to a place where we can down moroes and huntsman in one night.  We'll see.

Day 2: Kill moroes if not already killed.  Kill maiden.
    - as we get to the point where we start with maiden we'd also start exploring the opera event ect.   As with the first day, if we struggle and then get moroes down we'd probably not do maiden.

This would ensure that we have a fairly casual raiding environment, while still doing something.

So please reply with the days you would be available to schedule a raid, remember only two will be picked.  Also any suggestions would be nice, as this is just my idea.   If people don't actually want to do some of kara then we can just forget this and have a "run heroics" day instead or something.  (Please everyone get keyed for heroics, it lets us get gear that won't be replaced until we get to the point where we can do more of kara, plus we might need the gear to get to that point)

For me I am available weekday evenings, and weekends aside from thursday.  Tuesday I'm only on after 9-9:30 ish.

Please either put your availability on here, or mail me in game.

These are all responses I got when I asked what kind of stats should people starting kara aim for.  so evaluate yourself and see if you're ready.  Note we're only doing the start of kara, so if you're fairly close you'll be fine.  That being said make sure you're running 70 instances and start running heroics.  I know there are holes here.  Please comment and add more.

What gear should Druids get for endgame?

To start raiding Karazhan a tank should be fitted to a minimum of 12k Health, 415 Defense (with Survival of the Fittest), 20k Armor, and 25% Dodge. A healer should be stacked with at least 1000 +Healing, 6k Health, and 8500 Mana.

Rogues:
200+ hit rating would be nice, I got by with 160ish for a while but once I was over 200 my DPS picked up tremendously. Under 100 is gonna be pretty poor DPS especially on the bosses.

1300-1400+ AP
20%+ crit
8k HP

Hp is the least important here, as it can be covered with buffs/elixers

As a paladin I would have 20% holy crit, 90mp5 while casting, and a bare minimum 1000 healing. Those stats are not difficult to get from 70 instances/heroics, I know I was much better than that before I set foot in kara.

shadowpriests The 600+dmg is a good starting number, but they should also at least be halfway to hit cap (76 rating with 5/5 Shadow Focus). More due to extra CC demands (Moroes, first half trash pulls, etc) than DPS.

The 1000 number isn't easy to obtain if you aren't a tailor (Frozen Shadowweave is roughly equal to Tier5 in terms of +dmg), and even with FSW, 1000 is pretty high for pre-kara. (Doable sure, but you don't need to go into Kara fully epicced out :p)

healing priests, +1000 heal, 50mp5 (while casting), and ~8k unbuffed mana should be easy enough to shoot for to start.

Hunters, depends on spec, but MM should shoot (no pun intended) for around 1400 unbuffed RAP with BM coming in around 1200. Surv should lie somewhere between the two, with about 30% crit (the lower the crit, the higher the RAP should be). Mana isn't that big of a deal (I did just fine with my piddly 5.8k pool with Aspect of Viper and a few mana pots), so the 5.5-7k range should work just fine.

These are the mage guidelines for my guild, and I've found them quite reasonable:

Fire (Unbuffed)
Spell Hit: 90+ (125 if you do not have 3 points in elemental precision)
Spell Damage: 700+
Spell Crit: 15% (untalented! Arcane gets +3% crit, Fire gets +9% fire crit, don't count those)
Mana: 8500 (this one's way too harsh, I would drop it to 8k or maybe even 7500)
HP: 6500

NO ONE IS REPLYING!! /cry

Oh well, please everyone start showing up to raids with flasks/elixers. We're not geared yet and this will help cover that fact a lot.

Is anyone an alchemist, who can make these things for us?
